Hi Everyone,
I was so impressed by the latest software release for ESP32-S3 devices I had to read the documentation but there is so much of it (a very good thing - but hard to read on screen) so I converted it to Word so that I could have a printed copy - 67 pages of fully outlined, indexed, numbered and converted to Times New Roman (for ease of viewing on the printed page). I have since followed with the preliminary GFX document attached below (not indexed).
I have attached this document so that you can also print it out and amend where necessary (the document will self number according to the outline).
The original was done in .TMD format so let me know if you experience any glitches (I do not use Word but I know that a lot of people do).
The two documents are attached in .docx format. The original is now updated with an Index Table (this document has been removed because it is out-of-date)

Thanks for your contribution. However it seems that the file has been locked with a password so it cannot be open.[Local Link Removed for Guests] wrote: [Local Link Removed for Guests]Mon Mar 24, 2025 11:58 pm Hi Everyone,

I don't know if the .TMD format can easily be open, probably the best is to publish in .doc or pdf format

Re: LVGL Documentation
Old file deleted. Sorry about that - I did not mean to encrypt.
New ZIP file without encryption inserted in original posting above.
Neither Word .doc nor .docx can be attached to this forum hence the ZIP file (which is accepted)
Just a note: I have put in a page for Notes after the Table of Contents (TOC), but there is nothing stopping you inserting notes after each numbered paragraph in 5.1 or elsewhere. In that manner you can have a living breathing document and all you have to do every so often is update the TOC

Thanks again for the time spent into formatting this document; I think that it will be very useful in this "interim" phase before the final release.
Please take care that my "original" document is actually "living" as I update it regularly as soon as I implement or modify the code (I did some modifications yesterday night).
At the end, the whole content will be included in the global help accessible typing F2.

Re: LVGL Documentation
I updated the files in the post above (25 Mar 25) to take account of two commands being removed and to add a index table. There is about to be a new border width command in LVGL - this has not been included yet. I have also added a GFX document - about 20 pages.
