E-mail Notifications are not working

I no longer receive email notifications when a new message is written on the forum.
Is this my problem or is it a general problem?

Sometimes yes , sometimes no. I have not yet been able to see the pattern.

That's what I thought at first. But when I got a message, I was then surprised that I then sometimes found MORE new posts. However, to those I had not received any mail.
However, I am unsure if this somehow conflicts with the mechanism that suppresses a new notification as long as you do not acknowledge the last notification mail with your forum visit.

I found a problem in the e-mail notifications and I fixed this yesterday.
